MINERAL DEFICIENCIES

Hair loss always has been a major concern to adults and young adults. However child/pet hair loss has never been given that importance. Hair loss in children as well pets has been quite rampant. There are many children who suffer with alopecia. Although most of the children recover from alopecia when they grow up, without any treatment a huge number still suffers from it even after growing up. Unlike common conception alopecia in children is not caused because of cold weather, vitamin and mineral deficiencies or hats and headbands. DOCTOR SHOPPING

Just when I was set to get my treatments done in California, Tara got some information on doctors in Texas, so we decided to see about the opportunities for lasik in Texas. I was not in a hurry to get on a plane to do more doctor shopping, but I guess it seemed to be in my best interest to get as many opinions as possible. We decided to go after Carol's wedding. Carol invited us to her wedding, and we do want to go, though it is her fourth marriage. We missed her third one, two years ago. Carol is really excited about this guy and marriage, so being that she is one of Tara's best friends we are going to go. So then it's off to Texas. First we are going to Houston, then Dallas, then San Antonio and then Waco. We will be seeing a lot of the state. Sometimes I'm thinking that Tara is more interested in seeing the country than finding the right place for my procedure. Of course I'm just joking. Actually, I'm the one who keeps wanting to see more doctors. And I do enjoy seeing different parts of the country. We probably would never take a vacation or a trip if we didn't have a reason.

SEAFOOD BUFFET

One of my best friends from college, Bennett, is from Houston, Texas. That means that once college ended, I came back to Chicago, and he headed back down south to Houston. One of my favorite memories from my college years was when we went to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday party. On the trip was Bennett, one of his best friends from home, his father and me. Bennett’s father is a personal injury attorney in Houston, and I think he was more excited than any of us to get a chance to take a vacation and let loose in Las Vegas. The first night we were there we went to the Rio for their all you can eat seafood buffet, which is known as one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. We all ate so much, that Bennett’s dad and his friend Jeff could not even make it out to gamble after dinner. While we were out gambling, Bennett and I ran into Mike Tyson. It was incredible. We ran all the way back to the hotel room to wake up his dad and Jeff to tell them who we just saw. They did not even believe us, and we had to show them the picture we had taken with him.

When someone proclaims that she or he is a vegetarian, the meaning of which is vague at best, or a vegan, who supposedly eats no animal products whatsoever including dairy products and eggs, she often thinks that that label is an automatic ticket to good health, and there is no need to make any more changes but more research is needed in that area.

When you engage in physical activity; gardening, walking, weight lifting, swimming, biking or dance aerobics, for example, you burn more calories during the activity than during times at rest or most other less strenuous activities. In order to calculate the calories spent during the day precisely, you will need to record all activities, the length of time for each activity and the intensity level it was executed. Let’s start out with the assumption that the calories spent will significantly vary between people and cannot be generalized between high, medium and low activity level.
