What if I did take a chance and go ahead and have the Lasik procedure. I am wondering if I would be one of those who would end up with 20/20 vision and after the surgery, enjoy years of 20/20 vision before nature naturally takes its course. I guess nothing will last forever, not even Lasik. After some years, I might end right back where I started from, wearing glasses or contact lenses. But in the meantime it might be worth the effort to not have to worry about wearing them. This bit of reasoning keeps me from dismissing having Lasik eye surgery all together. I am going to have to stop wavering. I have been going back and forth over the pros and cons of this subject for quite a while now. I think I am going to have to make an appointment to go in and talk to a surgeon face to face. Maybe I’ll even go so far as to get a second opinion. I am sure if I talked with a couple of surgeons, I will get a better grip on what is to be expected than I have already from all the research I have been doing on the surgery.
