FEELING STRONGER
Now that Tara was feeling better we looked in earnest for car accident attorneys. Tara could get out at least one or two days a week, as she was feeling stronger. The attorneys wanted to see her as her point of view was important and was going to help to determine the outcome of the case. The woman in the minivan had no insurance, so there would be no settlement of costs from her part. We recounted the entire accident each time we saw a new attorney. Tara was weak and she couldn't keep up the pace, so we wanted to find a good lawyer and get this thing going, so we could take care of some of our costs. We had two more appointments with lawyers, but Tara was not doing well so we cut the afternoon short and went home. The next day Tara felt better and we saw one lawyer. She thought we had a good case, and we signed an agreement right away. We spent the next three hours with the lawyer detailing the case, and she thought that we could get the settlement we needed. On the way home Tara fell asleep in the car, but woke up on the way home. The doctors say she will make a full recovery, but it will take time.
