HEALTHY LUNCH
We left antique furniture Chicago show and decided to drive right away to the barn where Tara saw that furniture set. The drive would be about two hours. I asked if she wanted to stop for lunch, and she said that that would be great. But a second later she said that we should drive right through and get out there. We got on the interstate and drove over the limit until we got to the right exit. The storm clouds were brewing in the sky, and we wondered if we were in for a repeat of the last time we went out there. The rain held off and we got to the barn, and went inside. The furniture was gone. Tara was almost crying. The old farmer came out again and said that he had just given the furniture to a junk man, and that he had left only five minutes ago. Tara and I looked at each other and ran out and jumped in the car. Soon it was raining. And hail was coming down. We saw the junk man's truck ahead and overtook it. We motioned him over and we told him what we wanted. He wasn't going to give it up, but we offered him a good bit of money.
