We both decided to start using Accu Check Strips last month, and are really quite happy with them. The price is right, and we usually order online. We could go down to the drugstore, but it's just easier to order on the computer and have them delivered right to the house. I hate the long lines at the drugstores too. They seem to move really slowly. So online is the way to go. I talked with Mr. Callahan, who is 95 years old, and he uses them too. He is a medical miracle. He is training for the Chicago Marathon. He ran in it last year, and finished really high in the runners. He didn't even run in any kind of seniors grouping. I'm not sure how he does it, because I can't even run around the block. I can't even run. maybe someday if I get back in shape I will be able to keep up with Mr. Callahan. Jim just laughs at that idea. He thinks I'm a hopeless non athlete. I probably am, but I can get back into shape and maybe enter some race some day. I gave this some serious thought, and I decided to try to run a half marathon by next Fall.
